C8C1 are longtime friends and collaborators. The Decades Project is their first major release.
In 2020, C8 shared with C1 a multitude of songs he had written over the prior few years. Although they were created as instrumental songs, C1 connected with them deeply and solidified vocals lines and lyrics. The unconventional song-writing appealed to the two, and they committed to write an album. By the end of 2025, the tunes were flowing and C8C1 had three albums worth of material. The DECADES PROJECT starts releasing in 2026.
